Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of TBMD include:

  • Urinalysis[1]:
    • Microscopic intermittent or persistent hematuria in patient and multiple family members.
    • Proteinuria: Rarely in children, mild-moderate proteinuria is seen in adult and neprotic range proteinuria is rarely seen in elderly patient.
  • Renal function test: Normal.
  • CBC: Normal.
