Overview
Computed tomography angiography may be diagnostic of acute thrombosis, and is associated with the diagnosis of thrombophilia.
CT
Computed tomography angiography (CTA) may be diagnostic of acute thrombosis associated with the diagnosis of thrombophilia. Findings on CT include:
- Chest CTA: It is the imaging modality of choice for the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.
- CT scans: It can also diagnose deep vein thrombosis, renal vein thrombosis, and cerebral venous thrombosis.
