Tubulopathy
Editor-In-Chief: C. Michael Gibson, M.S., M.D. [1]
Overview
Tubulopathy is a term used to describe a disease affecting the renal tubules of the nephron.[1]
Although it can refer to a process that is inflammatory or noninflammatory, because the term “tubulitis” exists for inflammatory conditions,[2][3] “tubulopathy” sometimes carries a noninflammatory implication.
