Acinic cell carcinoma CT

CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of acinar cell carcinoma.CT scan is the best imaging process to further investigate a salivary gland tumor. It can distinguish cyst from tumor but still lacks good differentiation against salivary gland tumors.

• CT scan is the best and most preferred way for salivary gland tumors further analysis.

• Acinic cell carcinoma still lack a good diagnostic criterion to distinguish between types of salivary gland tumors.^[1]
