Adam and Eve syndrome is due to poisoning from ingestion of the Adam and Eve plant which is an herb with heart-shaped leaves found in Europe. This European plant contains calcium oxalate crystals which are responsible for the symptoms.

- Tongue pain
- Skin rash
Physical Examination
Eye
Eye irritation can be present.
Skin
Mild short lived rash may be present.
