- Bone scan (bone scinitgraphy) may be used for early detection of articular erosions in adult-onset Still’s disease (AOSD).
- Tc99mmethyl diphosphonate-MDP bone scan may show the following findings in patients suffering from AOSD:[1]
- Symmetrical arthritis in small and large joints of axial and peripheral skeleton
- It may also be useful in differentiating arthritis and arthralgia
