Overview
The most common symptoms of alcohol withdrawal include loss of appetite, anorexia, craving for alcohol, nausea, vomiting, agitation, anxiety, irritability, hypervigilance, insomnia, vivid dreams, headache, diaphoresis, and tremor. The most severe symptoms in alcohol withdrawal include hallucinosis, seizures, and delirium tremens (DT).
