Amylmetacresol

Amylmetacresol or Amyl-m-Creso (C₁₂H₁₈O, CAS#: 1300-94-3 ) is a mild antiseptic used to treat minor infections of the mouth and throat. It is one of two active ingredients in Strepsils lozenges. Boots Group also make a lozenge with this as active ingredient.
