Urinary examination
- Sterile pyuria
- Microscopic hematuria
- Significant proteinuria (greater than 0.3 gr daily)
- Bacteriuria
- Tubular epithelial celluria
Blood tests
- Complete metabolic profile
- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Acidosis
- Varying degrees of renal failure
