Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of B-cell prolymphocytic leukemia include anemia, lymphocytosis, abnormal blood chemistry studies, and abnormal blood peripheral smear.

- Complete blood count is remarkable for the following abnormalities:
- Anemia
- Marked lymphocytosis
- A monotonous population of prolymphocytes in the peripheral blood and bone marrow
- Abnormal blood chemistry studies
- Abnormal blood peripheral smear
