In X-ray evaluation, thinning of bones and expanded bone marrow spaces can be observed.

X-ray findings

X-ray is not a routine evaluation in beta-thalassemia diagnosis. However, It may manifest thinning of bones and expanded bone marrow spaces can be observed on X-rays. Figure shows expanded bone marrows of the skull^[1].
