Common Symptoms
The symptoms of bunions include-
- Swelling of the metatarsophalangeal joint
- Irritated skin around the bunion
- Joint redness and pain over the joint, aggravated by pressure from shoes
- Possible shift of the big toe toward the other toes
- Red, callouse skin along the inside edge of the big toe
- A bony bump along the inside edge of the big toe
