Indications

For the treatment of increased intracranial hypertension and impending transtentorial cerebral herniation in cerebral venous thrombosis(CVT), surgical decomprerssion procedure is lifesaving.[1] Surgical thrombectomy is required in the setting of severe neurological and visual deterioration despite maximal medical therapy.
