Dosing and Administration
Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Older: The recommended dose of ZYRTEC-D 12 HOURâ„¢ Extended Release Tablets is one tablet twice daily for adults and children 12 years of age and older.
Dose Adjustment for Renal and Hepatic Impairment: In patients with decreased renal function(creatinine clearance 11-31 mL/min), patients on hemodialysis (creatinine clearance less than 7 mL/min), and in hepatically impaired patients, a dose of one tablet once daily is recommended.
ZYRTEC-D 12 HOURâ„¢ Extended Release Tablets may be given with or without food and should be swallowed whole, avoiding breaking or chewing the tablet.
