Echocardiography ,including imaging, and pulsed and color Doppler provides a definitive diagnosis of CHD with information on cardiac anatomy and function.
Indications:
- Central cyanosis who has failed a hyperoxia test or has an equivocal result
- Blood pressure or pulse differential between upper and lower extremities
- Cardiomegaly
- Murmur
