  • Subdural hematoma secondary to non accidental trauma
    1. A MRI in a patient who suffered non accidental trauma showing a subdural hematoma wrapping along the occipital over the tentorium cerebelli.

  • Vein of Galen
    1. A 13 month old child with failure to thrive undergoes a MRI showing a large aneurysm of vein of Galen.
    2. The vein of Galen is fed by choroidal branches of right posterior cerebral artery and drains into the deep midline venous system. It causes an increase in intracranial pressure.
