- Bronchoalveolar lavage can be helpful in obtaining tissue fragments for cultures, for the assessment of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage and for the assessment of cellular differentials.
- Surgical lung biopsy:[2]
- The gold standard for diagnosis is surgical lung biopsy.
