On CT scan, hemangioma of the liver is characterized by dynamic enhancement pattern related to the size of its vascular space.[1]

On CT scan, hemangioma of the liver is characterized by dynamic enhancement pattern related to the size of its vascular space. Typical lesions include:[1]
- Noncontrast: Hypointense to liver
- Arterial phase: Discontinuous, nodular, peripheral enhancement
- Portal venous enhancement: Progressive peripheral enhancement
- Delayed enhancement: Lesion fills in the contrast
