  • 1. Adults
  • Preferred regimen: Ribavirin PO/IV 10 mg/kg q8h
  • Day 1: Start with 600 mg loading dose THEN 200 mg q8h
  • Day 2: 400 mg q8h
  • Day 3: Increase the dose to a maximum of 10 mg/kg q8h
  • 1.1 In case of adverse events
  • Preferred regimen: Decrease dose or discontinue Ribavirin
  • 1.2 Creatinine clearance
  • 30–50 mL/min: Ribavirin PO/IV maximal 200 mg q8h
  • 10–30 mL/min: No recommendation can be given
