X Ray

There are no x-ray findings associated with inguinal hernia. However, an x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of inguinal hernia, which include:^[1]
Dilated small bowel loops.
Loop of bowel is seen below the level of the inguinal ligament.
