CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of Kaposi’s sarcoma lesions. Findings on CT scan of the chest suggestive of Kaposi’s sarcoma include ill-defined (flame-shaped) nodular lung opacities, interlobular septal thickening, and hilar lymphadenopathy.

- Chest CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of Kaposi’s sarcoma. Findings on CT scan suggestive of kaposi’s sarcoma include:[1][2]
- Ill-defined (flame-shaped) nodular lung opacities
- Interlobular septal thickening
- Hilar lymphadenopathy
- Findings on high resolution CT scan of the abdomen suggestive of Kaposi’s sarcoma include:
- Ill-defined multifocal peripheral portal nodules
- Variable enhancement of the lesions on contrast
