Overview
MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Findings on T1 weighted MRI imaging suggestive of Langerhans cell histiocytosis include a well-defined, isointense, brain lesion associated with reactive dural enhancement.[1][2]

- MRI image characteristics observed among medulloblastoma patients include:
- T1 weighted image demonstrates:
- An isointense lesion associated with reactive dural enhancement
- T2 weighted image demonstrates:
- Heterogeneously hyperintense lesion
- T1 weighted image iwth gadolinium contrast demonstrates:
- Marked contrast enhancement
