MASS syndrome


MASS syndrome is a combination of symptoms that is similar the Marfan syndrome but does not involve lens dislocation. It is a connective tissue disorder that involves the skeleton, skin, aorta and mitral valve.

Symptoms

  • Deformed ribcage
  • Long limbs
  • Loose joints
  • Mild aortic root dilatation
  • Mitral valve prolapse
  • Narrow face
  • Skin stretch marks
