Macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor

Overview

Macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor (M-CFSR) is a cell-surface-bound protein-signaling receptor for Macrophage colony-stimulating factor.

Amounts of M-CFSR are increased in microglia in Alzheimer’s disease and after brain injuries. The increased expression of M-CSFR causes the microglia to become more active.[1]
