Neuroblastoma chest x ray

X ray findings of neuroblastoma include; intrathoracic or intraabdominal soft tissue mass, calcification, remodeling of surrounding ribs & vertebral bodies, thinning of surrounding pedicles and ill defined, metaphyseal, lucent bone lesions seen in metastases.

• An x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of neuroblastoma:^[1][2][3][4]

• Intraabdominal or intrathoracic soft tissue mass
• Calcification
• Remodeling of the surrounding ribs
• Remodeling of the surrounding vertebral bodies
• Thinning of the surrounding pedicles
• Skeletal metastasis may be observed as ill-defined, metaphyseal, lucent bone lesions associated with a periosteal reaction.

• 
  Neuroblastoma observed on chest X ray as a large left sided paraspinal mass.^[1]
