Measures that may reduce MASLD development or progression include maintaining a healthy weight, reducing excess caloric intake, limiting ultraprocessed foods, saturated fats, refined sugars, and sugar-sweetened beverages, engaging in regular physical activity, avoiding alcohol intake, and effectively managing type 2 diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, and hypertension.
