Polycythemia vera MRI

Overview

Brain MRI may be helpful in the detection of ischemic stroke in patients with polycythemia vera. Abdominal MRI can help with diagnosis of mesenteric thrombosis.

Brain MRI

There are no MRI findings associated with polycythemia vera. However, a MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of polycythemia vera, which include:^[1]^[2]
