Seropositivity
Seropositivity is the presence of a certain antibody in a blood sample. A patient with seropositivity for a particular antigen or agent is termed seropositive.
It is not a neutral term, as in popular perception seropositivity is used most commonly in reference to HIV seropositivity. It is also used (though less frequently) to refer to Rheumatoid factor.
