Electrocardiogram has no role in the diagnosis of thymoma except it may show findings in a thymoma patient with positive history of myasthenia gravis (MG).

- Electrocardiogram (ECG) may show ischemic ST–T wave changes.
- These changes can give false picture of ischemic heart disease.
- Thymectomy can reverse the abnormal ECG changes.
