In an emergency situations facing the trauma caused the ulnar fracture you have to do the following [1][2]:
- Immobilize the forearm and upper arm
- provide effective analgesia
- Identify other injuries
- perform a complete physical examination to exclude other injuries.
- Assess the injured forearm.
- Obtain appropriate radiographs
- Treat the injury expeditiously
- Apply a splint (like a cast)
