Overview

There are no x-ray findings associated with beriberi.However, in advanced wet beriberi, the X-ray picture of heart failure may appear, including chamber enlargement, pleural effusion, and increased vascular markings.

X Ray

There are no specific x-ray findings associated with beriberi.

However, in the advanced stage of wet beriberi, the X-ray picture of heart failure may appear, including ^[1]:
- Cardiac chamber enlargement
- Pleural effusion
- Thickening of lung fissues
- Kerley B lines (Thickening of interlobular septa)
- Increased vascular markings
