- High-density areas
- Bone expansion
- Bone resorption
- Tooth resorption
- Impacted tooth
- Expansile “soap-bubble” lesion
- Well demarcated borders
- No matrix calcification
- Erosion of the adjacent tooth roots
- Erosion through cortex into adjacent soft tissues when ameloblastoma is large
