Overview
Common symptoms of Mycoplasma pneumonia include malaise, fever, dry cough, chest pain, night sweats, sore throat, and headache. Less common symptoms include eye pain, arthralgia, myalgia, dyspnea, rash, vomiting, and diarrhea.

History and Symptoms
Common Symptoms
Patients who are otherwise healthy often report that symptoms are mild and have appeared over a period of 1 to 3 weeks. Common symptoms include the following:
- Chest pain
- Chills
- Cough, usually dry and not-bloody
- Excessive sweating
- Fever
- Headache
- Sore throat
Less Common Symptoms
Less common symptoms include:
- Ear pain
- Eye pain or soreness
- Myalgia
- Arthralgia
- Neck lump
- Dyspnea
- Skin lesions or rash
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
