Urethral cancer physical examination

Common physical examination findings of urethral cancer include hematuria, urethral discharge, perineal/perigenital edema or mass.

• Patients with urethral cancer usually appear cachectic.^[1]

• Hyperthermia

• Pallor

• HEENT examination of patients with urethral cancer is usually normal.

• Neck examination of patients with urethral cancer is usually normal.

• Pulmonary examination of patients with urethral cancer is usually normal.

• Cardiovascular examination of patients with urethral cancer is usually normal.

• Enlarged inguinal lymph nodes

• A perineal mass may be palpated
• Swelling in the scrotum or vulva
• Urethral discharge

• Neuromuscular examination of patients with urethralcancer is usually normal.

• Swelling in the lower extremities
• Inguinal adenopathy
